.22 Silhouette - Flyer

Held the 1st Sunday of each month, December through April.  This shoot is held at 9am at the 100 yard River range.  The cost is $5 (kids shoot for free).

From May through August, we switch to .22 Long-Range Silhouette shooting.  The general ideas are the same - we just move the targets further from the muzzle. 

These matches offer shooters an opportunity to maintain offhand shooting skills during the winter months.  .22 Silhouette matches are affortdable as fees for adults are only $5 per day and ammunition is relatively inexpensive.  Juniors and peewees shoot for free.  In La Grande, we have added several targets not generally associated with standard silhouettes.  Our matches do not conform to NRA rules, which allows us to shoot varied targets, up to 150 yards.  it is fun and challenging, all at the same time.  The discipline requires eye and ear protection, even though we are shooting "only .22s".  Careful handling of firearms is the norm and we encourage everyone to be safe.  For more information, please feel free to contact Gary Langlitz (541) 786-0809.
